Charlotte Seley is a poet, writer, editor, creative consultant, editorial director, and native New Yorker.

Her first collection of poetry, The World is My Rival, published in 2018 from Spuyten Duyvil, and her chapbook DIE YOUNG: LETTERS TO KE$HA published in 2019 from dancing girl press.

She received her MFA in Creative Writing from Emerson College, where she served as Editor-in-Chief and Poetry Editor of Redivider. Her BA in Creative Writing is from Eugene Lang College of the New School for Liberal Arts in NYC.

In the past, Charlotte read poetry submissions for Ploughshares, including their Emerging Writers Contest. She also used to manage the digital media and communications for the monthly reading series Mr. Hip Presents, located in Jamaica Plain, MA.

She grew up in the Hudson Valley region of New York, and now lives in California with her sweet tabby cat, Lord Byron.
